One of the best 'new' bands I've fortunately had the pleasure of listening to recently, Mote's brand of brooding, melodic rock captures attention immediately. Urgent and aggressive in parts, this album has a gritty psych drone that delivers many sublime moments. Great songwriting and production – love it.
Favorite track: Hollow (bonus track).

If you're looking for colorful metaphors & in depth analysis of genre and time patterns this ain't it. This debut freakin kicks ass! This shit is GOOD. "Eden" is a fuzzy, bad ass ride. Love this album, wish it was longer🤘. Steve
How I live 90 miles away in Syracuse & am just now experiencing this band is a mystery. Glad I solved it. The progression from the kinda slow, melodic, spacey comfortable to kick ass bang my head jamming from musicians who are not only top notch, but also play from the soul is a sublime listening experience. I LOVE everything I've heard from this band. They are in their own category, as I personally won't waste time on comparisons. 👑🐃 is bad ass. Proud to be their neighbor 🤘. Steve
With their blend of playfulness and graduate-level instrumentation, Dorcha deftly prove that improvisational zeal and conservatory-level precision aren't mutually exclusive. Bandcamp Album of the Day Nov 16, 2020
